Self-Assessment Program (SAP) Course Structure


Self-Assessment Program (SAP) is a self-assessment course presented in a question and answer approach.

The SAP (Non-Plus) Structure includes the following components:

  • Front Matter
  • Introduction
  • Self-Assessment
  • Evaluation
  • Certification

Front Matter: Use this component to build program information for your course (sections include General/Certificate Information, Learning Objectives, Faculty, Disclosures/ Accreditation Statements, etc.). Content is collected via commentary fields, drop-down menus and items from the Author Tool Kit.

Introduction: Use this component to provide a description for your course.

Self-Assessment: Use this component to ask the learner multiple choice or true/false questions. In this component, you can also provide commentary and link questions to specific learning objectives, subject matter and quality measures.

Evaluation: Use this component to enter post-course assessment questions. The questions are entered and selected from the Author Tool Kit.

Certification: This component allows a learner to claim credit earned for completing a course. Certificate information is entered in the Front Matter component. No additional work is required to populate this component, as it is auto-generated.
